Wedding Planning: How I Stay Organized

I have two months left until my wedding! I can’t believe how fast this time has passed by. Since I am almost nearing the end of my wedding planning, I wanted to let you guys know how I stayed organized. Organization is key to life for me, I feel that when you are organized there is no reason for stress. That goes for planning events and life in general. If you can keep yourself and your surroundings as organized as possible, I guarantee it will make life so much easier!

I also show you guys sneak peeks of my save the dates & my wedding invites so definitely watch this video if you want to see!

Where Have I Been!? Life Update

I know I have been gone for quite a while. Well, let me explain.

I don’t like to make excuses for being absent from my blog, youtube, or social media in general because at the end of the day I choose to make certain things a priority and this blog, unfortunately, has not been one of them. When I first started my blog, I wanted to create an outlet where, if I wasn’t in the mood to film a Youtube video, I could come to my blog and just write about it. It ended up making things stressful because I felt that I was only posting the same things I was making videos about. After continuously doing that, writing these posts started to feel like a chore and I wasn’t into it. I didn’t know what else to write about, and it seemed like I never had the time to create more content. So, I gave myself a little (very long) break.

I never want to feel discouraged or forced to do something and that is why taking a break from my blog was the best decision. I was able to focus on my Youtube channel a little more and I finally hit 1,000 Subscribers!!! — I do want to thank all of you who not only follow my blog but also subscribed and watch my Youtube videos because without you, 1,000 subbies wouldn’t have been possible. I know it seems minuscule in comparison to other Youtubers  but to me, it is a huge deal. It took a very long time to get to this place and I don’t plan on stopping. I want to grow my channel and my blog, as well as my other social media platforms because I truly love doing this.

On top of focusing on my Youtube, I was able to focus more on school too. I am finally one semester away from graduation! Yayyyy. For those of you who don’t know, my college journey has been a crazy one (possible video or blog idea?). There were times where I felt like a failure and didn’t think I would ever have the opportunity to finish my education, so the fact that I am one semester away from graduation is such a blessing. I can’t wait to finish school, so that I can have some more free time to do the things that I love, including putting more focus into this blog.

I’ve also been planning my wedding as you all know, I got engaged last October and am planning a wedding for this September. I have done a few videos on my wedding planning process but overall, I planned everything so quickly that I didn’t really have much to talk about in videos. I plan on doing an update filling you guys in on what I have planned so far (which is basically everything, but ya know, who doesn’t love wedding videos?).

So that’s pretty much what has been going on in my life right now that has been keeping me so busy. I hope that you guys are still interested in my blog because now that I am back, I have so many ideas brewing.

I want this blog to be more than just beauty because my Youtube is mostly about beauty at the moment (eventually, I want to dive into lifestyle and fashion on there too, but that’s another story and blog post). In this blog, I want to be able to share my opinions on topics, no matter what the topic is. I want to be able to share my travels with you guys, the books I read, and just daily tips and tricks, recipe’s, etc. Anything that comes to mind that I think is a part of me and my life, I want to share with you guys. I want this blog to be more than just a beauty blog. I guess what I am saying is, I want this blog to be more about my lifestyle. I want to open up more with you guys and I want you to get to know who I am in all aspects of my life.

I am excited for this new journey and the changes that I plan on making to my blog because I have been looking forward to this for a while. Keep an eye out for changes coming in the next few months and also, I hope that you stick with me and enjoy my new posts! If you have any ideas of what type of blog posts you would like to see definitely leave me some comments below and let me know what you want to see! I love you guys, thank you for all your support and for sticking with my even when I am not giving you my best. I appreciate all of your support and I hope we can continue on this journey together.
